Nissin Cup Noodle [Mini Gunpla] Packing

Unbelievable but true, there's going to be a limited MG Gundam RX-78-2 that you can get in Japan by eating (more) cup noodle. ^^

Nissin Food Products announced the launch of Cup Noodle [Mini Gunpla] Packing. Starting August 31st, customers can get cup noodle bundled with a mini Gunpla kit, produced by Bandai. In 1/380 scale, it's said that these are the smallest scale Gunplas molded in color so far (色プラガンダムシリーズ史上最小).

That's not all of course, using the purchase evidence from this limited cup noodle, customers can participate in "Cup Noodle Original 'MG RX-78-2 Gundam' Present Campaign", and the prize for this lucky draw is a limited MG Gundam RX-78-2 One Year War Version.

Campaign runs from August 31st till November 30th (2 months). Customers need to send in two tickets that are attached in the manual of the mini Gunplas along with their personal details to the company to participate in this lucky draw.

Drossel Figma in the wild liao (again)

The incredibly popular figma of Drossel has be re-released and is available in stores now it seems. I’ve not seen the anime, Fireball, from which Drossel hails from, but this is a pretty cool figma. The release is rumored to be only 5000 units so those wanting one should get one now while you can.

This photo was taken at Yodobashi Machida, and they now have only four left liao.

(holy fukken Drossel is 2880 Yen, nendoroid version will be much *ehem* expensive liao)

In a Gundam related note, the final two Gundam UC novels are also in the wild as well. A lot of Gundam related print materials are coming out now, kind of hard to know what’s worth getting.

so yesterday morning i invite my friends go watch the movie District 9 at klcc cinema. the movie starts around 4+pm, so we promised to meet at around 3.30pm liao. so we came on time and saw some of the boys already arrived liao.

then they say la, "why u all come so late wan arr? we already arrive here like 2 hour ago man, we all eat lunch edi".

i was like "waffak? i tot we already say just eat something light first b4 go movie, then eat again after movie

so yesterday i had this lunch break from work, ate lunch at klcc food court, damn many people due to PC fair, but manage to get a seat.

so this is the story, me & my friends sat down and order our food, then this pair of mother and her son (around 20s) came back from pc fair and sat next to us. The mother go order food first while the son go switch on his laptop and working on it. then the mother came back with her food so its the son's turn to order his food. while his son went away to order his food, the mother just turn the laptop around and used it for a while. the the son came back and and suddenly scold the mother, we were dumfounded @_@, how come just suddenly scold her?? then watever the case is, we heard the son used the 'eff' word on her own mother

, even his own drink spilled on his laptop, so he scold his mother even more

. He said tat why his mom follow him to pc fair in the first place, embarassed him in front of his friends, bla bla bla. Then he just took off from the table, just like tat. Leaving the mother alone on the table and his leftover stuffs from pc fair. I really pity the mother, like everyone was staring at her like that. the son really no use punya

Tetsujin 28 Project, after the Gundam Green Project

another project that's been undergoing, same time as the Gundam Green Project, taken place at Shinnagata, Kobe. The " Tetsujin Project". Location of this statue/monument will be taken place at the Wakamatsu Park, Kobe. Although Mitsuteru Yokoyama, the creator of Tetsujin 28, had passed away back in 2004, the NPO (Non Profit Organization) comitee begun to set up plans of this event to commemorate Yokoyama.

Amazingly, the construction is actually being funded by donation from fans, collected since June 17th 2006.

The Ring Three has been announced. Hideo Nakata is rumored to be the director with David Dorfman reprising his role as Aiden and Kelly Stables returning as Samara. The film currently has an expected release date of 2011.

After announcing the development of The Secret World, Funcom project director Jorgen Tharaldsen informed the press that the game uses the same engine as Age of Conan.[1] According to Funcom, the game will blend elements of MMO gameplay with alternate reality gaming and social networking.[7]

At GDC 2009, Tørnquist gave an interview to GameSpot regarding TSW, revealing more about its gameplay.[2] There will be neither levels, nor classes in the game; instead, the character building will be skill-based. This way, the developers plan to avoid level grinding, allowing new players to join the game more easily. The player characters will be customizable to a large degree, particularly in their choice of clothing, weapons (which range from shotguns to swords and can be customized and upgraded), and the supernatural powers they acquire. Combat against computer-controlled monsters will be one of the game's central points and will require more of player's attention than contemporary MMORPGs. The players will be able to form teams to fight together but in an earlier blog posting, Tørnquist assured that the game can also be played in single-player mode, should a player be uncomfortable or unable to play with a group.[8] According to him, the game is story-driven and there will be an overarching linear plot, as well as numerous side-quests, ranging from investigation to sabotage and hunting, since diversity of the gameplay will be another central point.

The game will feature an original setting created by Funcom, with contemporary elements as well as "magic, myths, conspiracies and dark horrors".[10] Contrary to rumors, spawned by this game's second working title, it has neither anything to do with, nor is inspired by the .hack franchise and its setting.[11] Tørnquist debunked several rumors surrounding The Secret World, stating that "there are no aliens or sci-fi elements" in it.[9] He also denied any connection of TSW to The Longest Journey.[9]
